Elizabeth Blackadder is one of the best known and respected contemporary artists today. She studied and taught at the Edinburgh College of Art and is an elected member of the Royal Academy and the Royal Scottish Academy – the first woman to become a member of both. She has held numerous one-man exhibitions and her paintings are in collections throughout the world.
