APV FILMS have recently returned from a filming trip to Australia. Whilst there, they worked with several different painters, all highly respected both in Australia and internationally and all members of the Twenty Melbourne Painters Society.
The filming for a new film with Joseph Zbukvic, which was begun in Paris during December, was completed both outdoors and in his new Melbourne studio.
Filming with Max Wilks, an artist new to APV FILMS, began whilst he was in the UK last year, painting in Whitby. Two films are in production, one in pastel, the other in oil, and the filming for both was completed in Australia, in and around his studio in the Dandenong Hills.
In addition to these, two other films were shot with painters new to APV. Herman Pekel, who has a passion for paint and for the untamed Australian scenery, paints in oils in and around Melbourne. Ross Paterson, who is well known for his paintings of the Australian landscape and is a much sought after tutor, paints in watercolour both in his studio and in the surrounding countryside of northern Victoria.
